The slabs of the level 1 of the career of Auberoche have a gradient of colors from a rich harmonious color around the warm tones.
From tan to beige with some more or less ribbed slabs that we call "thin dappled" and "coarse dappled", others are of a beige-gray that we call "ash" fine-textured, some slabs sometimes offer orange veins that we call "banded" and which are not always present in the choice of all hues.
Finally, another darker shade drifts brown and is called "chestnut".
All these nuances are predominantly warm more assertive than in Auberoche "Quercy blanc" showing of how expressive a character at once warm, gentle and good living.
This stone is the lightest in our range, however it has somewhat united a wealth of detail: shells, ribs, sometimes light veining.
It brings greater clarity to dark rooms.
It is also ideal in contemporary homes where we want a clean environment.
The slabs of the level 4 of the Auberoche's carrer are a strong and light gray slightly bluish. Some include calcite white, where you can see the crystals concretion, some have shells and "month" giving a strong eroding effect that enhances the authentic side. The bluish-gray tint is similar to that of marble from the Pyrenees, it produces an effect of strength and determination and blends magnificently with wooden interiors be it a cottage or a house with wooden floors. Outside, the stone is very durable and fits well in mountain, plateau, or any other area where you can find the gray stone. The finish is necessarily rustic.
The slabs of the level 3 of the Auberoche's career are the most homogeneous of the career. The light gray color - ecru we call "sand tone" is constant. The texture has a slight grained that we smooth with the brush. These pavings can be compared to a mineral belt. The texture of gray tones is the same as in your sand, it has some differences between the slabs showing some hints of blue-gray, gray-green, gray-brown resulting in a chic and vibrant. These tiles are suitable for small rooms, patio, corridors, etc ... and as wall facings.
These slabs of the bench 2 of the career of Auberoche are by far the most approaching of the spirit of the old paving. With heterogeneous textures with slight relief which we give a patina, with shades of gray, with tan, brown slightly plum, honey and raw, they return a sense of depth and authenticity.
It is imperative to observe a good distribution of colors during the installation.
NOTE: we also offer a select of tint.
